Shehal is an operations leader at Chris Barnard Health with deep workforce and recruitment experience, known for his calm, people-first approach and ability to deliver under pressure.
Shehal brings operational leadership, workforce insight, and a calm, people first approach to his role at Chris Barnard Health. Having grown through the business over close to a decade, from allocations to recruitment and now operations, he has developed a deep understanding of the healthcare agency workforce and what it takes to keep it moving well.
At Chris Barnard Health, Shehal plays a key role in leading the day to day operations of the Nursing Agency, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and practical problem solving. With close to 1,000 healthcare staff recruited over the years, he brings valuable experience across workforce planning, recruitment, and service delivery. During the COVID 19 pandemic, he drew on his strong relationships across the workforce to staff facilities overnight, including major organisations such as Bupa and Calvary.
Shehal is known for his patience, his ability to stay composed under pressure, and his way of cutting through the noise to focus on the solution. He believes strong operations start with strong relationships, and that staying connected to staff and clients is what allows a business to respond well when it matters most.
Outside of work, Shehal is passionate about all forms of art, with a particular love for photography, music and theatre, and a natural appreciation for creativity, culture and stories that connect with people on a deeper level.
